Microdroplet chemistry is gaining recognition as a powerful tool and promising platform due to its unique physicochemical environment, suitable for a wide range of applications. When scaled down to the nano‐ or micrometer range, microdroplets possess a high surface‐to‐volume ratio and exhibit several distinctive properties, such as strong interfacial effects, electric fields, super acidic or basic environments, radical generation, and enhanced reducing power. These characteristics contribute to accelerated reaction rates and enable reactions that are otherwise unfavorable. This minireview explores and discusses the applications of microdroplet chemistry in CO 2 conversion processes.
