摘要
Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are the important class of materials. In this chapter, we specifically focused on the MOFs for applications in sensors actuators, microelectromechanical devices, ultrasonic resonators and energy harvesting technology. In addition, the MOFs and their derivatives like the barium titanate, lead titanate and lead zirconium titanate based organic materials are discussed for piezo/ferroelectric properties. In view of this, the corresponding parameters like saturation polarization (Ps), dielectric constant, and piezoelectric coefficient (d33) are elucidated for MOFs. Moreover, the importance of porous structure of MOFs is discussed for sensors actuators, microelectromechanical devices, ultrasonic resonators device applications along with piezo/ferroelectric parameters.
