Achieving an optimal performance balance in UV nonlinear optical crystals via hydrogen-bond regulation

Our molecular modification strategy balances SHG and birefringence for UV NLO materials. We synthesized a new crystal exhibiting moderate SHG coefficients, a wide bandgap, and excellent thermal stability, positioning it as a promising UV NLO material.
