Role of wind power in the energy development in China

In recent years,China has made significant achievements in optimizing energy mix and developing renewable energy.The wind power capacity in China has doubled and then redoubled especially.However,there are some discords of high-speed growth of wind power with the power system,industry infrastructure and policy mechanism.Base on the inherent features and practical problems of wind power development in China,the role of wind power in the energy development was defined with logic demonstration in three perspectives,i.e.energy utilization,energy development and the ultimate goal of wind power development.The current wind power development should ground on the wind power industrialization system improvement,the smart grid construction and the new energy storage technology.This approach offers great benefit to the development of wind power in the near future.
