It is very important task to conserve and manage the Koguryo mural tombs in North Korea. Then we need to care about problems below. First, the restoration which were achieved exceedingly is not so appropriate. It must to turn back to the environment when the Koguryo mural tombs were excavated as near as possible. Second, researchers have to make a laboratory work for conservation of mural paintings continuously, then evaluate and analyse the experimental results. Especially, researchers must take care for the effect of the materials which were used to restore and conserve mural tombs, as examples as cement, moisture proof sheets and steel polars. Third, researchers have to file up the experimental analysed data about the mutual relation between painting stratum, lime stratum and stone wall in mural tombs. Based then, researchers can begin restoration and conservation of mural tombs on the experimental analysed results. Forth, all researchers have to share every results of research about mural tombs and mural paintings. If new institutes for joint research about Koguryo mural tombs are established at North Korea or other countries in the near futurej every researchers can share their results of research each other via those institutes.
