Structures and Function of Human Rab7 Gene

Rab protein family is a class of Ras related GTP-binding proteins.Rab proteins play important roles in vesicle transportation.As a number of this family,Rab7 has a comparability with other nabs in structures,islprenylation processing,and GDP/GTP-binding ability with a speciality in identification of late endosome.Interruption of Rab7 functions may result in several human genetic diseases.
