摘要
This paper deals with the thermoelectric simulation of a micro resistor beam. The thermal, electrical and structural coupling analysis is shown here. The model consists of a beam which deflects by Joule heating. The thermal expansion of various materials such as Copper, Aluminum are discussed here. This model has a simple 3D geometry which illustrates a perfect example of Multiphysics modelling. The simulation is done using Comsol Multiphysics. This work involves of the estimation of how much temperature and current is required to displace the beam.
