            摘要
            
            This paper reviews fundamentals of optical affinity biosensors based on plasmonic nanostructures and discusses recent advances in the development of this technology, including plasmonic nanostructures and surface plasmon phenomena, advances in sensor instrumentation, and functional coatings.
