Synthesis, characterization, antioxidant activity and DNA binding affinity of novel metal complexes based on amentoflavone extracted from Ginkgo biloba leaves

Amentoflavone (Ame) was extracted and purified from Ginkgo biloba leaves. Ame complexes with metal ions were synthesized and characterized. The results indicated Ame complexes had better bioactivities than that of Ame.
