Mechanofluorochromic properties of β-iminoenolate boron complexes tuned by the electronic effects of terminal phenothiazine and phenothiazine-S,S-dioxide

β-Iminoenolate boron complexes bearing phenothiazine exhibited high-contrast mechanofluorochromic behavior compared with that containing a phenothiazine- S , S -dioxide unit.
