The thermal decomposition of composite modified double-base propellants with different RDX content were studied by means of high pressure differential scanning calorimetry(PDSC).It was shown that the intensity of the exothermic peaks of the double-base components in GLX propellant decreased with the increase of RDX content,and the peak temperature shifted forward.However,the intensity of the exothermic peak of RDX increased in this way.Besides,with the pressure increased,these two exothermic peak temperatures of GLX propellants decreased at different degree while the quantity of heat release increased apparently.Moreover,in this process,the exothermic peak became sharper and the decrease of peak temperature in extent was dependent linearly on the ambient pressure.
