Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) was used for analyzing fatty acids in three kinds of natural beeswax, including cover beeswax, new comb beeswax and old comb beeswax. The relative contents were determined by peak area normalization method. The results showed that 9 fatty acids were identified in three kinds of natural beeswax, including palmitic acid, oleic acid, cerotic acid, stearic acid. The content of saturated fatty acids accounted for 86.2% of total; fatty acids compositions of three kinds of beeswax were very similar, however the content of individual fatty acid varied a little in different beeswax.
