Design on the encounter time for pulse shape control by Brillouin amplification

Stimulated Brillouin scattering phase conjugation mirror has the ability to control the output pulse shape.According to the properties of Brillouin amplification,design principles and steps of the encounter were investigated in the scheme of pulse shape control by Brillouin amplification.For Stokes seed with steep leading edge,design methods of the encounter time were presented.They achieved expected amplified pulse shapes in both schemes of single Brillouin amplifier and double Brillouin amplifiers.These results show promise the application of pulse shape control by Brillouin amplification.
