A Study on the Disease Symptom and the Biological Characteristics of Verticillium wilt of Eggplant

In this study,the disease symptom types,the infected periods and the infected rates of Verticillium wilt of eggplants in the different fields of Jinzhong in Shanxi Province have been observed and investigated. The pathogen,Verticilium dahliae, has been identified. The morphological features and the biological characteristics of Verticilium dahliae in eggplants have also been tested.
