Supported solid super acid catalyst was a new type of catalytic materials which had been developed in recent years.Solid super acid catalysts had been proved to be very effective from the viewpoint of activity,selectivity and recycle.Advances in modifications of the solid super acid catalyst were reviewed, included the studies on solid super acid catalyst with simple and multiple components.Finally,the development trend of solid super acid catalysts was put forward.
