摘要
Digital holographic interferometry exploits not only the amplitude of the object, but also its phase. This chapter presents an overview of the methods and applications of digital holographic interferometry. It focuses on the methods that exploit the optical phase of the digital hologram for quantitative measurement. The chapter first gives the basics of digital holographic interferometry, as well as its relationship to the disturbances experienced by an object. Then, the chapter explains the principles of digital holographic microscopy, two-wavelength profilometry, single and multiple wavelength photomechanics, time-averaged holography, special techniques for tracking high-amplitude vibrations, and three-color holography for fluid mechanics.
