Electroluminescent Devices of Small Organic Molecular and Conjugated Polymers

The electroluminescence in small organic molecular and conjugated polymers is reviewed. The principle and the structure of organic emitting devices(OLED) have been studied. The quantum efficiency(QE), the stability and the lifetime have also been discussed. This paper also reviewed the state-of-art developments and the technique challenges to meet the commercial application in the new century.
