Research Progress on Effect of Global Environmental Change on Soil Organic Carbon Pool

The effect of global environmental change on soil organic carbon pool has became a research hot point.In this paper,the possible effects of environmental factors such as elevated CO2 concentration in atmosphere,elevated air temperature and nitrogen deposition on soil organic carbon input and soil respiration are reviewed.And the means used for studying the effect of global environmental change on soil carbon pool,as well as their existing problems are also introduced.Sequentially suggestions on further research on response of soil organic carbon to global environmental change are proposed.
