Solvent Degreasing Process of 316L Stainless Steel Injection Molding

Solvent degreasing of MIM 316L stainless steel green body was studied.Effects of degreasing temperature,degreasing time,green body thickness,and solvent types were investigated.The results show that the defects of green body could be avoided when choosing n-heptane,ethanol,peanut oil as degreasing solvent;the degreasing rate could reach 36% when degreasing for 12 h and controlling the degreasing temperature at 45℃.
