Study on Numerical Simulation of Porthole-die Forming Tube Extrusion Processing

Three-dimensional simulation of porthole-die forming tube extrusion with FEM is successfully done. The effective stress, strain and velocity during the extrusion processing are given. These results have very important reference value to the die design.
