The Concept of the Heaven before the Spring and Autumn Period

In the study of ancient Chinese philosophy,scholars generally considered that the concept of heaven was a single latitude before the Spring and Autumn Period,namely Tian in religrom.In fact,the concept of heaven was a single latitude in the Xia Dynasty and Shang Dynasty,but from the Zhou Dynasty,the concept was not only Tian in religion or nature,but both of the two connotations.This suggestted the ideological foundation to thinkers after the Spring and Autumn Period,while they explained the concept from different angles specifically.Only clarified this point,we could undersand the basic problem in the ancient Chinese philosophy of relations between heaven and people originally.
