Determination of Camphor Menthol Synthetic Borneol and Methyl Salicylate in Shangshizhitong Adhesive Plaster by GC

Objective To establish a method for determination of camphor,menthol,synthetic borneol and methyl salicylate in Shangshizhitong adhesive plaster.Methods The gas chromatography systern consisted of a DBFFAP capillary column,with FID as the detector and nitrogen as the carrier gas and at the column temperature of125 ℃.Results Camphor,menthol,synthetic borneol and methyl salicylate were well separated under the chromatographic condition.The average recovery was 100.90%(RSD = 1.97%) for camphor,98.40%(RSD = 1.77%) for menthol,96.14%(RSD = 1.98%) for synthetic borneol,and 97.14%(RSD = 1.47%) for methyl salicylate.Conclusion This methood is simple,accurate and reproducible for quality control of the preparation.
