Determination of ginsenosides in black ginseng and dry radix ginsen

Objective To establish the method for determining simultaneously ginsenosides Rf,Rg2,Rh1,Rc,Rb2,Rb3,Rd and their contents in black ginseng and dry radix ginseng by HPLC.Methods HPLC was carried out on agilent eclipse XDB-C18(4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm)with acetonitrile-water,gradient elution,the volume of flow 1.0 mL/min and detection wavelength 203 nm.Results The contents of many kinds of ginsenosides in black ginseng were 0.06%,0.05%,0.03%,0.02%,0.40%,0.08%,0.23%.The contents of many kinds of ginsenosides in dry radix ginseng were 0.336%,0.298%,0.071%,0.765%,0.617%,0.433%,0.086%,0.279%.Conclusion The contents of ginsenosides ingredients in black ginseng and dry radix ginseng were determined for the first time.The established method can be used in determining the contents of multiple ginsenosides in herb ginseng simultaneously.
