A Study on the Dyeing Performances of Indigo Naturalis on Polyester Fabric

Polyester fabric was dyed with indigo naturalis and factors influenced on dyeing effect were studied.The results showed that the optimum dyeing conditions were pH value 4～5,the dyeing temperature 120～130 ℃ and dyeing time 30 minutes.Polyester could be dyed by indigo naturalis at 100 ℃ in the presence of carrier.The polyester fabric dyed with indigo naturalis has high washing fastness and rubbing fastness.
