摘要
This paper proposes a decoupled fault-tolerant control method for modular four-unit permanent magnet synchronous hub machine (MF-PMSHM) based on dimensionality reduction. By independently regulating the fundamental and harmonic planes, the proposed method fully utilizes all remaining healthy windings. It effectively suppresses torque ripple and copper loss under both single- and multi-phase open-circuit faults, while enhancing torque output capability. The effectiveness of the method was verified through comprehensive experiments on a 1.1 kW prototype, with detailed comparisons against the conventional dq-axis current reconstruction approach. Experimental results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed method, particularly in torque ripple suppression.
