摘要
This chapter presents a discussion of multiple ways in which we have incorporated training in experimental methods throughout our non-methods political science curriculum, ranging from introductory to upper-level classes and extending to experiential learning programs. We detail a variety of exercises and activities, and explain how we adapted CREATE, a teaching methodology pioneered in neuroscience, to teach experiments in political science. We provide quantitative and qualitative data to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in aiding students' understanding of - and confidence in - using experimental methods.
