An Overview of Microgrid Planning and Design Method

To address the problems caused by direct interconnection of distributed generation with power system, the concept of microgrid is proposed. To ensure the operation of microgrid, reasonable planning of microgrid is required. This paper introduces the research of microgrid planning modeling and algorithm, and pave a way for the further studies on the microgrid planning and related fields.
