Study on the Conflict of Interests of Deputies of People's Congress

Between the public interests represented by deputies' official capacity and the private interests represented by their private capacity there may exist conflict, and this conflict is a major source of deputies' corruption. Deputies' conflict of interests can't and should not be ignored, which is not only a theoretical analysis, but also a reality of political life. With the enhancement of status and role of the People's Congress, the conflict of interests will become increasingly acute. So, taking effective measures to prevent deputies' conflict of interests has become urgent to improve the System of People's Congresses and promote the anti-corruption construction.
