Selection of alloplasmic cytoplasmic male sterility line C50-2 in cauliflower

Cauliflower alloplasmic cytoplasmic male sterility line C50\|2 was obtained at the sixth generation through backcross and selection by use of cauliflower male sterility MYAcms which contains oguracytoplasmic male sterility genes as female parent and different kinds of carliflower as male parent. Its maintenance line was 5011\|2. C50\|2 was noted for normal growing,disease resistant,well agronomy characters and high combining ability. Two excellent hybrid combinations were obtained and demonstrated and popularized.
