Effect of additives on the performance of alkaline Ni/Zn battery

The effects of additives on the performance of alkaline Ni/Zn battery were studied by added Co and Zn when preparing cathode material NiOOH.When adding 2.5% Co and 3.5% Zn in NiOOH,the heavy load discharge(1 500 mA) time of the battery improved 41% than without Co and Zn,was 3.14 times than that of alkaline Zn/MnO_2 battery.
