Ultrasonic Synthesis Method of Gold Nanoparticles Using Tris(Hydroxymethyl) Aminomethane

This paper introduces the method for reduction of the chloroauric acid solution under the alkaline condition via first use of tris(hydroxymethyl) aminomethane(Tris) as a reducing agent. The controled synthsis of gold nanoparticles proves stabilized through adjusting the ratio of Tris and Na OH, reaction time and accretion of stabilizers, which makes the size of ions between 15 nm and 47 nm.
