A Review of Domestic Studies on Second Language Writing Feedback

Writing feedback has been a focus in the study of writing teaching of second language. Since 2003,the domestic researches on second language writing feedbacks have been increasingly mature. This paper summarizes and introspects the research results from articles on second language writing feedback by many scholars in the recent 10 years with the purpose to make it better service to the demand of the second language writing teaching. By analyzing 27 articles on writing feedback from foreign language core journals,this paper finds out that: in recent years,the studies on second language writing feedback give priority to the empirical research,meanwhile,research contents and Angle of view have been increasingly diverse,and feedback carrier has been increasingly electronic; in spite of obtaining many useful results from the studies on teacher feedback、peer feedback、feedback validity and composite,there are still some deficiencies in the studies on the universality of peer feedback validity、micro- differences of validity from teacher feedback and peer feedback、validity economy and proper presentation of feedback information and so on.
