Neonatal sepsis in a preterm infant complicated by fungal infection

We present the case of a preterm male infant born at 23+2 weeks gestation, who developed sepsis and was subsequently found to have fungal sepsis. The case highlights the diagnostic challenges and management strategies involved in treating neonatal sepsis, particularly in the presence of fungal pathogens.
