Allergic rhinitis is a common respiratory disease that imposes a burden on patients daily life and work. This article reviews the existing research achievements of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, introduces the etiology and pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis, as well as the application and research progress of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.
