摘要
Abstract. Asbestos roof sheets are deleterious for health and for the environment. Breathing in asbestos fibres can cause lung cancer and mesothelioma. When it comes to environmental impacts, asbestos contaminates the air, water and the soil. To avoid these circumstances, composite fibre reinforced plastic roof sheets can be used as a substitute to asbestos roof sheets. This composite roof sheet includes Kevlar, Basalt and Glass particles as fibres; epoxy as resin and SiO2 and TiO2 as Nanofillers. This paper includes the systematic procedure of design and fabrication of a composite roof sheet. The design of the roof sheet involves a corrugated structure reinforced with six layers of fibre sheets. The fabrication of the roof sheet includes a mould of 10-feet by 4-feet dimensions. The regional Hyderabad dealers provided the nanoparticle material used in this investigation. In this experiment, materials such as Araldite LY556 epoxy resin, Ardur HY951 hardener, basalt (B), glass (G), and kevlar were used (KV). The density of the Araldite LY556 epoxy resins is between 1.16 and 1.20 g/cm3 and between 10,000 and 12,000 at 25C. (cps). The K- 6 hardener's feature is that it can outperform forecasted market demand at increased permeability and room temperature. The density and flashpoint of K-6 hardener are 110 C and 0.98 and 0.99 g/cm3, respectively. With an average particle size of 30 nm, the TiO2 region has a 50 + 15 m2, 80 in antae crystal, and 200 crystals. The particles range in size from 62 to 70 nm and are 98% pure. The reverse osmosis and polymerization bonding between the molecules are improved by the addition of these nanofillers. The slurry is coloured with grey pigment to give the roof sheet colour. To make the mixture more resistant to heat and sunlight exposure, UV lite powder is sprinkled over the mixture.
