Ser-Au@MMI nanocomposites are prepared through a facile and environmentally friendly strategy and have the advantages of excellent bactericidal effect and low toxicity, which has the potential for application as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent and biofilm disrupting agent in healthcare.
