摘要
ABSTRACT Through chemical precipitation and comprehensive examination of CuO nanoparticles from CuCl 2 , researchers found a link between shape and photocatalytic effectiveness. The visible light photocatalyst, manufactured CuO (50 mg), degraded 10 ppm methylene blue, safranine, and rhodamine 6G dye solutions in water. Safranine, methylene blue, and Rhodamine 6G exhibited degradation rates of 26.69%, 16.02%, and 10.67% after 60 min of light exposure, with apparent rate constants of 3.97 × 10 −2 , 2.47 × 10 −2 , and 1.66 × 10 −2 min −1 , Based on these results, precipitated CuO may be an affordable photocatalyst for dye‐containing wastewater.
