摘要
Printed circuit board (PCB) Litz is proposed as an alternative of Litz wire for PCB windings in solid-state transformers, inductors and wireless charging. However, the designing relies on simulation, which is extremely time-consuming. Existing PCB Litz loss model gives a large error when applied to wide windings with few turns. To improve accuracy and make it more practical for optimization, an analytical winding loss model is derived based on existing modeling method, together with a practical parameterization. Meanwhile, to obtain the accurate winding loss for verification, a partial refinement technique and a winding loss measurement method are proposed. The result shows great consistency between the analytical model, simulation results, and measurement.
