摘要
This paper presents a new dieless spinning method for elliptical thin-walled parts. Based on the motion principle of connecting rod, a multi-wheel collaborative structure was designed to complete the whole non-circular cross-section spinning structure system and the corresponding forming process by numerical simulation. The effects of process parameters such as wheel shape, feed ratio and wheel fillet radius on the forming quality of spinning parts were studied by orthogonal test with wall thickness difference and maximum spinning pressure as evaluation indexes. In the spinning process of 304 stainless steel elliptical section parts, the optimal process parameters are obtained by orthogonal experiment method : feed ratio is 1mm / r, roller shape is double cone angle, roller fillet radius is 8mm. At this point, the thickness difference and spinning pressure of the spinning part reach the minimum.
