Advancement about Nordihydroguaiaretic acid inhibiting tumor

Nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA) was abstracted from natural vegetation.NDGA was once used to prevent food rottenness for it's strong inhibition for lypoxygenase. Recently,people found NDGA could inhibit tumor growth and induce cell apoptosis. This review will focus on research advancement about effect and mechanism of NDGA inhibiting tumor.
