Survey of the testarch for thin-walled multicell box girder

This paper summarizes the developments of box girders in the past 10 years, including the shear lag,the section warp,the distortion and the out plane flexure,etc.Analysis methods of one cellular and one box girders,multi celluar and one box girders and multi cellular and multi box girders are also compared .The authors draw attention to analysis methods of multi cellular box girders and nonlinear of concrete box girders,which includes the necessity, the complexity of analysis and other questions .For the cracking of some box girders in recent years,the design theories are discussded in the article,and some solutions and many questions which need research further are presented .7figs.,57refs.
