Study on the solvent for the recovery of benzene and cyclohexane by extractive distillation

In this paper, taking the separation of benzene and cyclohexane form No. 6 solvent naphtha as background for study, the NMP was selected as the solvent for the recovery of benzene and cyclohexane by extractive distillation by comparing with S∞ of ther solvents, and the effect of the solvent was investigated by using NRTL equation.
