Determination of Paeoniflorin in Jiulong Weiyao Capsules by HPLC

Aim To establish an HPLC method for the determination of paeoniflorin in Jiulong Weiyao Capsules.Methods Paeoniflorin was separated on Hypersil BDS C18 column at 230nm with acetonitrile-0.05mol · L-1 KH2PO4(15∶ 85) as a mobile phase.Results A good linear relationship of paeoniflorin was found at 0.25μg to 2.5μg.The average recovery of paeoniflorin was 99.2%. Conclusion The method is simple,accurate and reliable for the determineation of paeoniflorin in Jiulong Weiyao Capsules.
