Twenty dwarfing source genotypes of wheat were test - crossed as the maternal parents and the plant height of the Fls was compared with their paternal parents. The dominant dwarfing sources, Aibian 1, Mian 11Rht 3 and Huang KangRht 10 showed the strongest dwarfing ability; the recessive dwarfing sources, Norin 10, Guinong 40, Yu 46 and 84-2014 had weaker dwarfing ability. The other 13 genotypes were semi - dominant dwarfing sources and had an intermediate dwarfing ability, and are recommended as dwarfing sources in wheat breeding except Xinan 06. Correlation and regression analyses showed that plant height of the Fls was highly significandy correlated with that of the paternal parent. Cluster analysis grouped Aibian 1 into Type I, Mian 11Rht 3 and Huang Kang Rht 10 into Type Ⅱ, BAU -Rht 12 into Type Ⅲ, Norin 10, Yu 46, 84-2014 and Guinong 40 into Type V and the odiers into Type Ⅳ.
