This experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of duration of accelerated aging at 41℃ and 100% R.H.on Andrographis paniculata seed germination characteristics after 2 years storage. Results showed that germination percentage of the seeds was zero after room temperature storage;but that was 93.5% after 4℃ storage. No significant change on germination vigor was observed after 1~2d accelerated aging;germination index was increased by 3~4d accelerated aging, germination vigor and seedling height were significantly decreased by 5~7d accelerated aging. Thus, seeds stored at 4℃ would be beneficial to production, and it should be accelerated aged for at less 5 d in seed vigor test of Andrographis paniculata.
