摘要
The in situ remediation of polluted groundwater in permeable reactive barrier(PRB) technology is economical and convenient. The selection of the reactive media is the key and mainly depends on the property of contaminants. In this paper, with leachate-polluted groundwater as the research subject, five PRB reactors were designed with the mixture of zero valent iron(ZVI),active carbon, zeolite as reaction media. The feasibility and effectiveness of treating leachate-polluted groundwater by PRB were tested. The designs of the reactors took into account the relation of the permeability of the reaction media. The experimental results showed that:the average CODcr removal rates of the reactor A,B,C,D and E were up to 79.6%、75.6%、77.0%、78.9% and 79.9%;and the NH+4 average removal rates were 87.3%、82.1%、92.1%、98.8% and 88.5%,respectively.The results indicateed that PRB technology is an efficient method for the treatment of leachate-polluted groundwater.
