Nano-SiO_2 and ABS Modified CPVC Materials

CPVC/SiO2 and CPVC/ABS/SiO2 composite were prepared by melt mixing.The mechanical properties,heat resistance,SEM and DMA of both composite were researched.The results indicated that the mechanical properties and heat resistance of composite increased with moderate nano-SiO2.With a reasonable amount of ABS,the impact resistance of the composite was increased and glass transition temperature(Tg) moved to the high temperature so as heat resistance had a further improvement.
