Effects of NaCl on the properties of PSII fluorescence in leaves of Spinacia oleracea

The properties of PSII fluorescence in the leaves of Spinacia oleracea exposed to control,100( mmol/L), 150( mmol/L) and 200( mmol/L) NaCl solutions were studied. Compared with control, the value of fluorescence excitation spectrum of PSII decreased under 100( mmol/L) NaCl, with increasing of NaCl concentration and postponing of treat time , a drastic decrease of fluorescence excitation spectrum of PSII were also found. Treated with different NaCl concentrations and different time, the rate of electron transport of PSII particles in the leaves of Spinacia oleracea was also decreased. It indicated that NaCl could affect the properties of PSII fluorescence in the leaves of Spinacia oleracea.
