o-Acetylbenzoic acid, which was prepared from phthalic anhydride and malonic acid, reacted with thionyl chloride to obtain o-acetylbenzoyl chloride. Then three o-acetylbenzamide derivatives were synthesized by o-acetylbenzoyl chloride with different amines, the overall yields were 55.0%~61.9%.The optimum condition of the third step for the reaction were as follows:temperature was 0 ℃,pH=8~9,reaction time was 0.5 h,system was 1,4-dioxane,H2O and triethylamine. These compounds were characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR,IR and MS.
