The flotation of strontium was studied by flotation column flotation.Under the optimal flotation condition of strontium,the influence of the height and diameter of the flotation column,air chamber,the model of microporous foaming generator and the shape of the flotation column was researched.Through experiments,it was found that the diameter of flotation column,the model of mircoporous foaming generator,air chamber and the spherical flotation column all had great impact on flotation;the effect of the height of flotation column was trivial,on the other hand,the proper height of flotation column can shorten flotation time;when the appropriate size and spherical flotation column are chosen,the highest rate of strontium flotation can be up to 97%.
